West Carrollton High School Reviews

The attitude toward West Carrollton schools is poor. The teachers do all they can for those who want to succeed. They are good at it. The biggest issue with West Carrollton schools is the lack of disipline. Students are allowed to disrupt classes and the teachers don't have the power to enforce the rules. The parents won't listen to teacher recommendations and the administrators won't support the teachers decisions. If your kid is in this district and you the parent express the importance of an education. Your child will succeed. They will be given all the resources they need.

im not a parent but yet a sutdent at west carrollton we arent that bad of a school yes we do need to make soem improvements and stuff but seriously choose i different school because this one is like leaning on what they wanna do improve the academic requirements which probably will lower and the school needs a little improvment its self so yeah go to miamisburg or centerville...both good schools but we do get good grades and stuff and we did get some award but its your average public school.

It is not nearly as great as they try to make it out to be. My oldest daughter began as a 3rd grader and my younger daughter began in kindergarten. My oldest attended Miamisburg before we moved here because of a divorce, and I regret it. Miamisburg would have been a safer, more developed academic atmosphere than West Carrollton. Thankfully, both of my daughters were able to take advantage of Post Secondary Enrollment Option (make sure you find a school with this!). I just want other parents to realize that W.C. is really lowering their standards, and if you need to be in this area, look at Miamisburg. They are a great school.
